Although showing vaccination status is no longer mandatory for entry into Saudi Arabia or access to public facilities, the app remains active for viewing health details, booking tests and managing specific services.

Registration is available to Saudi residents, GCC nationals and visit visa holders. After downloading the app, you can create an account using your national ID, residence permit or passport information. Once registered, you can view your profile, check health updates, review PCR results and manage travel-related services.

Tawakkalna also provides notifications related to potential COVID-19 exposure. The app uses Bluetooth to identify nearby registered devices and alerts users if contact was made with someone who later tests positive.

Tawakkalna as a Travel and Entry Tool

Saudi Arabia no longer requires individuals to show vaccination status through Tawakkalna to enter the country, access facilities or board public transport. These requirements were removed following Ministry of Health updates.

Tawakkalna continues to support booking COVID-19 tests, receiving results and viewing health information. The app remains widely used across Saudi Arabia and is still important for several administrative and travel-related functions.

Checking Your Vaccine Status in Tawakkalna

Tawakkalna can display your immune status once your vaccination record meets the required conditions. Individuals who received a booster dose within eight months of their second vaccine dose are recognised as immune in the app.

Saudi citizens travelling abroad can take their booster after eight months instead of the previously required three months, except for age groups excluded by the Ministry of Health. Tawakkalna continues to provide a central place to review these records when needed for travel or administrative purposes.
