Total Cost of the Holiday or Visit:
Do consult the travel agent regarding their refund policy. An unforeseen event may lead to
cancellation of your trip or holiday. If this happens, it always helps if you can get the
money back.
Traveling with Family:
If you are traveling to Saudi Arabia with spouse and children, the travel insurance must
cover them. Therefore, it always helps to be informed before starting your journey and buy
the right travel insurance package.
Rawdah Whba
Dear Sir/Madam, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Dr. Rawdah Abduh Ghaleb Whba, and I have recently accepted an offer of employment as a Postdoctoral Fellow at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, as attached. The position is set to begin on September 1, 2025. KFUPM has advised me to contact your esteemed Embassy regarding the procedures for obtaining my work visa. I would be grateful if you could kindly provide clarification on the following: 1- Do I need to visit the Embassy in person to initiate or complete the visa application process? 2- What documents are required from my side to apply for the work visa? 3- Are there any specific steps or timelines I should be aware of? 4- Is it necessary to book an appointment in advance, or is it possible to walk in? Please note that the University will be obtaining the necessary initial approval from the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development prior to my visa application. I would greatly appreciate your guidance and support in this matter. Kindly let me know if any additional information or documentation is required from my side at this stage. Thank you for your time and assistance.
