Saudi Arabia offers an eVisa related to tourism. The tourist eVisa is valid for 1 year and can be used for multiple entries. The eVisa stay validity per visit is up to 90 days, and it is not applicable for studying or working in Saudi Arabia. It allows travel for purposes such as tourism, attending events, visiting family and friends, and performing Umrah.   1. Passport Validity: Ensure your passport is valid for up to 6 months from the date of your arrival in Saudi Arabia, and it has sufficient blank pages for an entry stamp.
  2. Use the Same Passport: Tourists should arrive holding the same passport they used when applying for the e-visa.
  3. Visa Validity & Stay: The permitted duration of stay cannot be extended.
  4. Application Accuracy: Always provide accurate and true information in your Saudi Arabia eVisa Application form. Applications containing misleading and false info will be rejected.
  5. Entry Points: The Saudi Arabia eVisa is valid for entering via all seaports and airports.
  6. Receiving the eVisa: You will receive the approved eVisa in the form of an email attachment, usually a PDF file.
  7. Submission Timeline: It is suggested that you apply for your Saudi Arabia eVisa at least four days before intending to receive the visa.
  8. Local Laws: All tourists will be subject to local laws after arriving in KSA.
  9. Age Requirements: Candidates must be 18 years old at least to apply for an eVisa. Minors would require an adult to apply on their behalf as they cannot apply on their own. Those applying on behalf of a minor must have legal authority to do so otherwise the application will be rejected.

    Note: Every child must have their own approved evisa and passport to travel to KSA.

  10. Existing Visa Holders: If you already have a visa to enter Saudi Arabia, you do not need to separately apply for an eVisa to visit Saudi Arabia. 
  11. Movement Within Saudi Arabia: Foreign citizens will have the right to freedom of movement within the area of the region near the point of entry. However, to visit certain organizations, territories, and facilities, you will need special permission as per the laws of the Saudi Arabia Federation.
  12. Entry Not Guaranteed: An approved Saudi eVisa does not guarantee entry; final permission is granted by Saudi immigration authorities upon arrival.

    Eligibility is based only on the passport you hold, not your country of residence. Even if you live abroad, you must apply using an eligible nationality.

  • Are citizens of eligible countries required to be physically present in their home country to apply?

    No. You can apply from anywhere in the world as long as your passport is eligible.
